This blog entry is a little later than I planned but I guess "better late than never!"
Here we are, already in the second week of July and the kids are well in the throws of summer holidays, our weather doesn't know if its summer or winter often changing multiple times in a single day.
But let's not complain about mother nature as we had a real good run in June and hoping for a return of the sun so let's rewind a little back to June as I want to share some of the highlights.
If you follow me on Dusk by Dawn socials, Instagram & Facebook, then you may already be familiar but keep reading just in case.. I've also got a surprise for loyal customers so hang in there.
Let's start with the big one... I made the front cover of Local Women magazine in June complete with a two page feature talking about my journey from that little girl growing up in Crossgar to present day running Dusk by Dawn, our self catering cottage and being a busy mum to 3 children.
I don't want to say much about the feature, you should go support the magazine and give it a read. I do have to say the whole process from the photographer to being interviewed was fantastic, the entire team made me feel so at ease, thank you everyone at Local Women.

Back to present day..
At the end of the July, Dusk by Dawn celebrates our first birthday, I honestly do not know where the time has gone but it's been an amazing journey so far and I have so many new ideas in the pipeline, I cant wait to share.
As a thank you for all the support to date I have launched a new loyalty program for my wonderful customers. I don't know if you're like me but I really get annoyed when companies reward the new people, or have new customer only deals. I really wan to do it differently so with that in mind I am now offering a 15% discount for a limited period in return for you giving up a few minutes of your time to review your recent purchase.
I appreciate time is everything so I hope the 15% discount sweetens the deal in return for a review.
How does it work?
Once you make a purchase and your order has been fulfilled, you will receive an email inviting you to leave a review, once complete you will then receive a second email with your special discount code, it's that simple.

To answer a common question about stock, we have healthy inventory for all products in our store, so if its listed on the website it's available for shipping.
All orders are shipped via Royal Mail 24 hour signed for service, free shipping within UK & IRE for orders over £30.
